From the Hills of Darjeeling to the Plains of Patna – A Journey to Remember! 🚗🌄 Last week, I had the joy of exploring the beauty of Darjeeling on a self-drive trip with my wife and daughter — a memorable family experience full of charm, nature, and reflection. While the local people greeted us warmly — calling tourists “God” — there was a sharp contrast in behavior from the administration and local police towards outside vehicles. The lack of empathy and harsh treatment made us question how long tourism can bloom under such unwelcoming practices. On our return, we took the Mirik route, and it turned out to be a hidden gem!
